  • Caregiving: A Shared Journey. This Ministry of Health website provides a range of resources that offer practical assistance as well as personal supports for caregivers and care recipients.

  • Community Dental Access Centre - Opening Fall 2010. Non-profit centre. Fees charged will depend on client’s income. Emergency treatment will be provided free of charge for those with dental infection and no means to pay for care. Community Dental Access website
  • Interior Health has established a central Patient Care Quality Office to receive, record, track and resolve complaints through Health Service Area Patient Care Quality Officers. The Patient Care Quality Officer is the liaison between patients, clients, residents and Interior Health regarding concerns, complaints or unmet needs.   • North Okanagan Seniors Action Network is a committee of seniors, service providers and others who work to identify seniors’ needs and implement solutions in our community. Action is the key work here and seniors will form the majority of this committee. If you are a senior, interested, and passionate about working towards improving the lives of all seniors, this is the group for you. Call Dayle Drury at the Seniors Information and Resource Bureau at

    Seniors Action Network meets at 10 am on the second Wednesday of each month at the Schubert Centre.
