  Seniors Assisting Seniors (SAS)

The Seniors Assisting Seniors (SAS) program offers help to seniors from seniors who are more able to perform every-day tasks and services. In exchange, the senior who is asking for help may be able to offer their skills and abilities to help others. This mutual helping society gives both the recipient and the provider self esteem and life satisfaction, and often enables seniors to remain independent and improve their current lifestyle.

If you are a senior (over 50) and would like to volunteer to help another senior, please call us at 250 545-8572!

Services Offered
Help with housekeeping, kitchen duties, transportation, financial / correspondence, companionship, house maintenance, garden / yard work, and many other services as needed.

If you are a senior and don't have the financial resources to pay for help to accomplish tasks or services that you may need to maintain your independence or quality of life, please call the above number.

The program is not responsible for the quality of service performed, but all volunteers are screened and receive a criminal record check.

No task or service will be undertaken that may put in jeopardy the client or the volunteer.
