North Okanagan Aboriginal Health Project
In the 2002/2003 fiscal year, the Social Planning Council for the North Okanagan - Aboriginal Health Project (SPCNO-AHP) received one-year funding from Health Canada via the national Voluntary Sector Initiative. This innovative project developed a new model for engaging aboriginal communities and health authorites in the formation and implementation of health care policy impacting aboriginal communities.
