We
are a non-profit society founded in 1969, dedicated to improving
the quality of life for residents of the North Okanagan by
addressing the social, health, economic and environmental
needs of the community.
Organizational
Structure
The Social Planning
Council is governed by a Board of Directors. The office is
managed by an Executive Director, assisted by the Manager
of Seniors' programs, the Coordinator of the Falls Prevention
program, the Coordinator of the Vernon and District Volunteer
Bureau, and a number of project staff and volunteers. We rely
heavily on volunteers to assist with programs, reception and
service provision.
